Zephyr’s Eco – Sustainability Fee

 

Overview

Zephyr is committed to providing our customers with the best overall value in air purifier products and service.  The Eco – Sustainability charge is the name of a fee which is in place to cover a broad spectrum of increases to costs in servicing a customers account over time; and is charged on all filters being purchased or received by a customer as part of their annual filter replacement policy.  The fee and its purpose are explained in their  entirety below.

 

Purpose

Over the 25 years we service our customers accounts there are continual increases in costs which we unfortunately cannot control or avoid.  Aside from inflation, some of these continuing increases in the cost of servicing a customers account include and are not   limited to: manufacturing, shipping, service department costs, wage increases for the people who service your account, etc.  Our Eco -Sustainability fee is in place to help offset and compensate for the increase in these costs over the 25 years we service your account.   This fee is in place so we may maintain an acceptable operating margin needed in order to continue  properly servicing all of our customers accounts over 25 years.

 

When is the fee charged?

The Eco – Sustainability fee is attached to each filter whether it is being purchased or received by customers as part of the annual filter replacement policy.  It is a one line item found on our customer invoices and charged upon filter purchase or filter replacement as part of the annual filter replacement policy. The current amount of the Eco – Sustainability fee is $57.12 + GST in Alberta (+ PST in applicable provinces).

 

Not a Government Tax & Future Change

Our Eco – Sustainability fee is not a tax or surcharge imposed by or remitted to any governmental or regulatory agency; it is our charge. The Eco – Sustainability fee amounts may be changed at the discretion of Zephyr at any time.

 

*The “Eco – Sustainability Fee” was formerly named the “Environmental / Sustainability Fee” and changed to prevent the charge from being confused with any government imposed tax or levy.

 

 

 

 

First Call Special

  • · 25 year service policy  (Only valid to customers who purchased from an Authorized Zephyr Dealer and received the “First Call Special” at the time of their purchase) (All product services and maintenance covered under the 25 year service policy and/or all repairs whether covered under warranty or not are performed at authorized Zephyr dealers/service centers only.)

 

  • · 25 year filter policy  (Only valid to customers who purchased from an Authorized Zephyr Dealer and received the “First Call Special” at the time of their purchase)
